Your Move Chris Stonock, a Your Move franchise with thirteen branches in the North East, is further expanding with the acquisition of the well-established Hymers and Ryle Residential.
Based in Ryton, Hymers and Ryle Residential with 170 managed letting properties with 23 rent-collect, with the successful business built and run by Kerry Hymers and Julie Ryle. The move comes as Julie takes a well-deserved retirement, with Kerry staying on to join Your Move Chris Stonock as Lettings Manager, current landlords and tenants can expect a seamless transition.
Kerry shared her excitement for the acquisition: “With Julie’s retirement plans approaching, we carefully decided next steps for the business together. We chose Your Move Chris Stonock due to its strong reputation and guaranteed ability to maintain the high service standards our landlords and tenants are accustomed to, with zero rent arrears reported across our portfolio.
“This acquisition means our clients will benefit from the resources of a larger group, while still receiving the same personal service as I continue on as the main point of contact with support from Your Move’s Property Management Centre.”
The pacing of the integration has been carefully considered to avoid disruption, as initially all properties will be managed through the Property Management Centre, with Kerry overseeing operations. Over time, as properties become available for re-let, they will be integrated into the wider Your Move Chris Stonock network.
